Sewing made easy,
This review is from: Brother LS2125i Easy-to-Use, Everyday Sewing Machine with 10 stitches including Blind Hem and Zigzag, and 4-Step Auto Buttonhole (Kitchen)
I just bought this sewing machine for my 8 yr old daughter. Instead of waiting until Christmas and risking the possibility of a disappointed little girl I tried this machine out. I have been sewing for about 30 years and learned as a young girl myself. There is nothing more discouraging for a new sewer than a poor piece of machinery. This is an amazing machine for the money. So easy to use!!!! The auto button-hole attachement works great. I am very hard to please and I will say that I am impressed so far!!!!

Thanks so much for your comments. I am purchasing two of these for my granddaughters and with your information I feel very comfortable with my choice. Bet their Mom will use it too! Merry Christmas

I wish I had read this sooner! I bought a child's Singer sewing machine (not even the basic one) for my 7 year old daughter for Christmas and we did wait until then to open it, and it was a huge disappointment. That piece of junk is back in the box and we're getting this model tomorrow now that I've seen the reviews to support what I already know about Brother machines. You're absolutely right about nothing being more discouraging than bad equipment. My daughter was so excited -- I hope we can recapture that with this machine!

Did you also buy a Rex USA 18 stitch machine from Overstock.com? Or is this a coincidence? Or are sites buying reviews from other sites?

I am looking for a sewing machine for my 13 year old daughter. i am not sure how serious she will be, so I don't want to spend a fortune. Thanks for such a helpful review...if she doesn't use it, I am sure I will be able to!

N. Tinker's concern posted above needs to be dealt with. Is this a legitimate review or not?
