This review is from: How Georgia Became O'Keeffe: Lessons On The Art Of Living (Hardcover)
I'll admit it. I expected to find this book only moderately interesting. The work of O'Keefe speaks volumes for itself, what more could there be to say? But I've heard Karen Karbo speak - witty, to the point, and laugh-out-loud funny, so I had to give it a shot. I found Karbo's exploration of Georgia O'keefe's life, art, and lessons for modern day women insightful, relevant, and humorous. An easy and relatively quick read. I am inclined to give her other books about famous women - How to Hepburn and The Gospel According to Coco Channel - a gander.
