1.0 out of 5 stars Fail - First two installed apps don't work, November 17, 2012

This review is from: AGPtek® 7" TFT Android 4.0 Capacitive Touch Screen Tablet PC (Wi-Fi Cortex A9 1.2Ghz CPU, 512M DDR3, Built-in 4GB Storage, Extend To 32GB T-Flash) (Personal Computers)
I so wanted this to be an inexpensive android 4.0 solution. I have one app I need to run for business and my iphone is a little small to use that app. This would have been an under $90 solution instead of the ipad mini. That single app freezes on open on this device. That app works fine on android phones. I uninstalled and re-installed the app three times without success. Guess I'll plunk down the bucks for a Nexus 7.

I reasoned that - well for under $90 it might still make a nice Christmas present for my wife who plays games on her iphone and also complains that she'd like a larger screen. I installed her current favorite (Dragonvale. On open it got a big red error indicating that the operating system couldn't handle something. So the first two apps I installed did not work on the device. I went to a third app. It was also a game - a bejeweled-like game. It worked. the sound of the music was not crisp but the game worked.

The device itself looked very nice. the screen was beautiful though it did not always recognize my touches -- not nearly as accurate as my iphone on recognizing touch. I hate to give any device one star but when it doesn't run the first two apps you install...

Havent you considered that there is a file not installed that would run your specific app?
I would not consider this a computer problem, but an upgradeable need.
