1.0 out of 5 stars not a good mouse`, December 20, 2010
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: HP Wireless Optical Comfort Mouse (Personal Computers)
This mouse is quite bulky and lags way too much on my computer. i used it only for 15 minutes and the lag frustrated me so much that i had to switch back to my old wireless mouse in which it works perfectly fine.

bought 3 of these for work and noticed the same lag on all three. was going to return them until i tried using usb extender for the receiver placing it on the desktop rather than on the tower (under desk). All three mice work flawlessly (zero lag). before getting the receiver on the desk, they were the worst mice ever. hope this helps.

Got this problem too. I got this mouse for xmas, bought in a market. It was the only standard size mouse around 16€ in a technology, the others were like 39€. So my GF went to the market in front of that shop and found this for 14€. But this was the only one standard size in the market.
I have a very big lag with my desktop pc. Tryed back usb and front usb (nearest to the mouse) but always have lag, and i cannot take it back becouse it was the only mouse standard size there, no other things to buy.
I think i'll try your suggestion, i'll buy an usb extender and see if something happens!

Powers says:
Did any of you go into the setting and change the mouse sensitivity? That's probably what your problem is if you didn't check that. If you did that, it might be the USB port on the computer(s) could have dust inside them so it's not making a good connection. I know the reply is a little late haha.
