I got this watch christmas '02. It is a great watch. The indiglo is pretty bright... no problem seeing what time it is late at night. The opal face on the watch is very pretty.

Don't judge the new Timex watches by your 10 year old model. Now they are crap that go through batteries 3 times as fast as they did when I got my original. I got a new one to replace my very beat up original- it's 13 years old- and I banged and scatched just ruined the looks of it working as a night nurse. Well, the old watch is back on my wrist. The current watches are made in China and the Philipines. It should be impossible to gain and lose time with a quartz movement, but Timex and China have figured it out. Look for an old Timex at a tag sale. Does Timex think we wouldn't notice it doesn't keep time? I have a 1904 Elgin that keeps better time, too bad it's not appropriate for hospital use.
