We have been long waiting for this book "Karate Kids 101." As it designed for real beginners, this book's lesson starts with how to tie your belt. I wish I had this book a few years ago when my 10 years old son started karate. The first day of karate lesson, he asked me how to tie his belt. I went library and visited several YouTube sites to find the way to tie the belt correctly. Surprisingly, at that time, there are no books or sites to explain the detail of basics skills including how to tie belt, sit, bow, and stand in karate way.
In the first half of this book explains these extreme basics. And in later half, it shows defense and offense methods such as block, hit, and kick.
If you don't have no or little experience of karate, this book can be a complement of karate lessons for you. It is a good investment for learning basics, but it also good for improving your karate skills. You will enjoy it!
