Customer Review

Frozen Heat is the best of the four Nikki Heat novels to date. The story is presented in a style that will please most fans of the Castle TV show as well as fans of American mystery authors. It is pleasingly paced with a nice intertwining of Heat's personal story and some very well written action sequences. It has all the charm and cheesy Castle wit of the TV series. Familiarity with both Fillion's and Katic's performances on the TV series will lead to enhanced enjoyment of the read. (The author has no luck putting Fillion's anxious grin or Katic's exasperated eye-rolls in to words. So, thankfully he doesn't labor at it.)

All in all a good read and lots of fun.
