I don't usually read books about cowboys and ranching, but something about this one caught my heart. After reading the introduction by Larry King, how could I not give this a try? I was captivated from the first paragraph. This book is very funny, very sad, and very poignant. I found myself cheering. I like that Mr. Querry spare nothing. He admits his mistakes and he grieves those errors. Not everyone does that in a memoir. He paints an honest picture of the triumphs and the disasters, and I could not help loving him for that. Mr. Querry is on a very short list of people I would like to meet someday.
