1.0 out of 5 stars Very boring book about a very interesting person, January 21, 2011

This review is from: Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption (Kindle Edition)
I wish I had read some of the negative reviews (and some of the higher ranked reviews). This book is tooooo slooow. I might have finished it if I jumped into the book at the midpoint but I suffered through about 20% before I removed it from my Kindle.

If you can't get more than a one star out of this book (or for that matter any of the other books you've reviewed) what are you doing with a Kindle? It's obvious that reading is not for you.

H. Laack says:
I understand that some books just seem not worth reading all the way through, but this one--admittedly a slow starter--would have been well worth your while to finish.

Side note from a still paper-supporting book reader--perhaps a non-Kindle copy would have given you an easier opportunity to flip to a later chapter and scan for the direction the story was going. Had you done so, your interest might have been re-kindled (pun intended!).
