4.0 out of 5 stars Okay for beginners, December 25, 2006
This review is from: Dance Dance Revolution DDRgame (Super Sensitive-No More Delay) PS1 /PS2 Super Deluxe Pad (Version 4.0) with 1" Foam Insert (Video Game)
I was a little weary of this product when I first saw it simply because it was so cheap. I figured that for 29.99, it was worth a shot. I wasn't at all disappointed when it arrived; it is a foam dance pad (won't hurt your legs like flat pads) and it is perfectly responsive at first. However, as I began playing more and more heavy songs, the pad began tearing and becoming less responsive. It is basically impossible to get a AAA on any song b/c the arrows do migrate a bit inside the pad. Most problems can be fixed with duct tape, though. It begins breaking down after about 3 weeks of serious play. As long as you're not a super-serious DDRer, this pad is ideal for the money.

I completely agree. Very impressive pad but I have replaced 3 of mine and the fourth is on it's way out. Durability is it's only downfall

How long did it take before you had to replace it?
