5.0 out of 5 stars The new Mass, May 21, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: The Mass Explained (Paperback)
This is an excellent introduction to the new Mass but it is grounded in the deep tradition of our Catholic heritage. It is a must read for Catholics!!

john says:
You are correct, it is the new mass (small m).

Are you aware that there is a document that is no longer in the Missale Romanum? This document is infallible and it has been in every Roman Missal since the council of Trent. If you would like to find out more about this document, search for the first two words of this document: "Quo Primum". The document states that the Mass could never be changed. Recent leaders of the Catholic Church changed the Mass. The novus ordo is not deep in tradition of our Catholic heritage as you state but actually is a "new" mass. The sacraments were also changed. If the novus ordo is so great, why have so many fallen away from the faith and the ones who pretend to be Catholic (practicing artificial contraception, supporting gay marriage and abortion) are more numerous than traditional Catholics? Is the novus ordo actually the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel and Matthew?
