Customer Review

The first two times I took apart my iPod mini, I did so with an iPod opener tool and it just shredded that thing. The case is all chewed up from trying to use screwdrivers along with it to get more force to pry, but that's all in the past now - this tool makes such short work of the case that I almost want to start taking things apart just as an excuse to continue using it.

The grip rubber works surprisingly well, and the point of the tool is well designed to get in and then allow rotation to exert force along a broader side.

Overall, if you are taking apart an iPod (especially one with plastic endcaps), this is the tool you want.
