This book is inferior to other math books that I use. Although there are many good problem sets, Rogawski Calculus lacks in the explanation and derivation of certain properties and formulas. Many claims that they make during derivation seem weak at best. Perhaps a mathematician with many years of experience may understand these derivations quite clearly, but I often find my self flipping through the pages of other books to better my understanding. I usually read the corresponding sections in Stewart calculus or A.E. Taylor's calculus and Analytic geometry for clear understanding as they do a far better job in explaining.
