This review is from: Curious Folks Ask: 162 Real Answers on Amazing Inventions, Fascinating Products, and Medical Mysteries (FT Press Science) (Kindle Edition)
This book delivered exactly as advertised. The format is broken into multiple chapters (8, I think) which group questions by general subject matter. Each question is asked, and then there's a relatively brief explanation/answer given. A great deal of detail, background, and information is presented quite concisely in the answers. All information seems to be well-researched and is written in layman's terms, so that just about anyone would be able to benefit. All the questions deal with either modern technology/science, or the human body and its workings - a rather narrow selection, but the questions do cover a lot of interesting things that I never once gave thought to... until someone asked the question! I'd recommend this to anyone from 'tween to adult (there might be a little too much detail and depth for younger readers) who is incurably curious about everything! I found the format and style to be 'light reading' - it was easy to pick up and read a few questions/answers, and then put down without having to finish a chapter or feel obliged to keep reading to 'find out what happened next'.
Note on Kindle formatting: I found no issues with the Kindle format.
