Just as Hoped For,
These were a replacement for a model New Balance doesn't make any more, and the only shoe made on a particular last that fits my foot --wide toe box, narrow heel. They were a little snug when I put them on, but I wear ankle bracers on both feet and heavy gym socks, so snugness is better than too loose. Just got through treadmilling with these shoes for the first time and they worked like a champ: Just the right support, not binding, no rubbing. In fact, I pretty much forgot about my feet, which is about the best thing I can say since my treadmill workouts are a requirement, not a choice, and the worst thing that can happen is uncomfortable and/or unsupportive shoes. These fit the bill in all ways and are fine replacements for my old pair which served me so many years.

Thanks for the review. Is the MW577 a replacement for the MW576? I absolutely loved the 576's. Comfortable and durable with heavy use. I am hoping the 577's are just as good.
