4.0 out of 5 stars Wireless "mousing" at home or on-the-go..., July 26, 2012
This review is from: Logitech Wireless Mouse M325 with Designed-for-Web Scrolling - Liquid Color (Personal Computers)
Vine Customer Review of Free Product (What's this?)
This is a very satisfactory wireless mouse and another quality product from Logitech. I obtained this (in the Liquid Color design) to replace a mouse, the Logitech Wireless Performance Mouse MX for PC and Mac, that was dragging and that had become hard to point and position precisely on the screen. I own quite a few of their devices and have typically found them to perform and function as advertised.

This particular mouse is smaller than my previous one, but not as small as the one I have used in the past with my laptop. I do like the small unifying receiver and can easily switch it between my desktop computer and my laptop as needed. The shape of this mouse makes it easy to hold and the rubber sides make it comfortable when manipulating it for long periods of activity. I really like the web scrolling wheel as I search, browse, and navigate on the internet. The tracking seems to be very precise with no drag so it's easy to position the cursor where you want it.

The product advertisement indicates that this mouse has a long battery life -- which will be excellent for me as I had to recharge the batteries in the previous mouse I used quite often. I can't, however, validate that claim of 18 months at present but will edit this review to reflect that later.

Compatible with both PC (Windows) and Mac, I can recommend this mouse to anyone looking for a basic, medium sized wireless device. I find that I miss the extra features on the mouse I previously owned that allowed me to zoom, mute, etc., but that is a matter of personal choice.

What are your thoughts on this now? How has the battery held up?

In reply to an earlier post on Jun 12, 2013 9:45:19 AM PDT
I actually replaced this mouse with a wired mouse recently. The battery was still going strong in it, however. I just wanted a mouse for my desktop computer that came with a few more features! I will continue to use this one with my laptop.
