A slight problem, but I still love it,
This review is from: The Smurfs, Vol. 1: True Blue Friends (DVD)
Has anyone had the problem of different content on their dvd? I received the True Blue Friends for christmas but the episodes match those on the 1st disc of the Season 1 vol. 2. I think there are more episodes than the other but I have never experienced a problem like this. I am just not sure what to do if I want to purchase the rest. The label on the disc even reads True Blue Friends so it must be a manufacturing flaw. I am just curious if I am the only one or are there others. A great product though. I am a grown up who loves the Smurfs and my kids love it now also.

i have the same problem too. i got mine for christmas and was very upset. i was expecting season 2 episodes. instead, i get season one episodes. i think this is false advertising. all the episodes one this disk are from season one. why can't they just make the season 2 like they did for season 1.

I just bought this at Wal-mart in the $5 bin and mine is also Season 1 Volume 2. Which is actually a much more expensive collection with more episodes, but still obviously there was a mistake made at the factory somewhere!

I had this problem with a different set of episodes. I think they have messed up the packaging.

My disc is the same way. It's clearly marked "True Blue Friends Volume 1" on both the case & DVD, but the episodes on the disc match the ones on "Season One, Volume Two, Disc One" (not at all the episodes labeled on the case). It is a shame, since I already had those & was hoping to aquire more Smurf episodes, but I didn't try to return the DVD. That's a huge manufacturing flaw & I wonder how many were produced like that.

I have same problems. So much hassle to return it to amazon. Hope the replacement will be correct. Amazon will take this DVD off from their list if the problems persist. At least that's what the representative told me. Hope not gonna happen though. I love Smurf and I really want to watch the real true blue friend content.

We had the same problem from Walmart. We called the company that puts out the disks, and they sent out the right disk along with a return label for the defective disk. Problem solved:)
