Customer Review

I played every version of this game over the yrs and had great expectations for this title. Save yourself hours of frustration, disappointment, and carpal tunnel syndrome. Twitchy camera views, MANY glitches (including having to replay sub-missions many times over b4 the game finally recognizes you actually completed the stupid mission), impervious enemies who can slay you instantly but barely register a touch from my blades, LOUSY WEAPONS across the board, wooden voice acting, dumbed down story, bad characters (I'm looking at YOU, Haytham Kenway!) and a confusing, unworkable economic system that makes you NO money. Prepare to spend tons of what little cash you do have to upgrade your ships in those sea missions (probably the best thing about this entire game btw) or you can forget about being able to finish those, too. Oh, and the AI is so inconsistant! I can walk down the street incognito and suddenly come under attack by a dozen enemies for no reason other than I exist. Sorry, folks... this is a bad game and I won't buy another AC title blindly like this again. Assassin's Creed games are now & forever "rent 1st, then buy" from now on after this abortion of a game. I would love to sit here and write an expletive-laden tyrade against the team that built AC3, but I've already wasted enough of my time on it.
Final grade: a D for extreme Disappointment.
