This book sustains your attention, but it certainly is not a masterpiece. Once again, the police are painted slow and very skeptical. Really? They really will dismiss your concerns and not even look into the issue? Even though the issue is as serious as kidnapping? Seems highly improbable. Coincidences and close calls roam through the pages like wild fire. Very unrealistic turns of the plot, the two heroines are just unstoppable little ninjas. This is Michael Prescott's third book I read, and they are all starting to blend in. May be it's time to change the author.
