No Problems Like Other Reviewers

I have no choice but to use a 1-GB memory card for my 8-year-old camera...it's the only size that works, and I'm not going to buy a new camera just to be able to have more choices now. Especially a Canon considering the s**t job they did protecting everyone's data in the image storage cloud. Plus, who's to say that a camera I buy new today won't also be unsupported in another few years, just like my current one and my PIXMA printer?! That said, however - thanks for tolerating my rant - I have no problem with any of the 4 memory cards I received from this seller.

Bad SD card! It doesn't work and is not recognized by my cameras! The SD card arrived in only a little plastic snap container. That should be a big red flag warning! I work in the film industry and I needed a 1 GB SD Card for my old but sharp NIkon CoolPix for quick photo shots on image boards...and this scan card is pure junk! What a waste!

Works fine in my Lumix Panasonic DMC-FZ20. Seems very expensive for 1 GB, considering you can get a 32 GB card for the same price, but I guess they figure if you're buying 1 GB it is because that is all your camera will take, so they have you over a barrel. Regardless, this card worked well in my older camera. Popped it in, was prompted to format it, and that was that.

I ordered four of these items, and so far, they have done well. No failures, yet. Although I had a CF card of this brand that failed (my only card that did, ever), luckily before I had used it on a trip. San Disk gave me a bigger capacity card, promptly, by a phone call to their tech support, and I was satisfied. I do bring along back-up, so I didn't miss any shots due to less memory.

It may be better to have several smaller cards, as you don't have all your eggs in one basket. Terrible to have just one 4 GB card, and then it fails. I tried then to have different cards from different manufacturers, but because of the good deal, here, decided to buy all my cards the same way. Just can't find a better price! Now, memory cards are available everywhere, so I can just go to a store and buy another one, should one or two fail on a road trip.

My new 7 MP Nikon Coolpix manual, then, says a higher speed card may be required to prevent quits during TV mode recording, but I shot once for 40 seconds, and that came out fine. They'll be good up to about 11 minutes on one 1 GB card, but I haven't needed to shoot that long. I'm probably going to get a high speed card when I can get another good deal. The lowering price is now a better, great bargain, and if I should need more SD cards, I know where to get them!
