I know this will always pop off of your shower faucet. However I have a great husband. He was able to fix it by putting a hose clamp around my faucet and this contraption. He made it work great and now I can wash the dog that is big dog in my tub easy as can be.

No matter how many items I buy on Amazon I am always amazed at the idiotic things people say to detract others from buying. No matter what you buy, a little common sense and creativity is usually a must. This spout works perfect. To keep it on the tub spout I took the advice of another reviewer and clamped it down. I used zip ties to clamp it down and some silicon around the edge of it to prevent water from shooting out. I decided to face mine in the opposite direction. Even if this thing was $100 you still need to secure it. Come on people, get off the drugs and use some common sense. I suppose common sense is not common.

The description of the product does not say it cannot be used with a faucet that has a pin. It will not work for me, but unfortunately, I ripped it open before looking at the back of the package where it clearly shows it is not to be used on my type faucet. I'm just glad it was an inexpensive lesson. Do NOT buy this you have a pin on the top of your faucet!

The cup that slips over the facet is now made smaller then it was a few years ago. Needed to replace the one for my bathtub and almost never got it on. It's so tight I doubt it will never last as long as the old one. I know it's the same brand because I saved the old packaging because I wanted to make sure I got the same product as before when it came time for it to be replaced.

It said "it would fit a 2" tub spout" IT did NOT...I cut away some and that still didn't work, and to return it. Forget it. You use to be able to return it to Amazon, NOW YOU HAVE TO GO TO THE SELLER AND SEE WHAT THEIR RETURN POLICY IS. Which is TOTAL STUPID...You pay GOOD MONEY and you should be able to just return it like it used to be. NOT HAVE TO GO THROUGH BS TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE. Go to Home Depot, They have a GREAT shower system that you can install and than hook the hose up to it, use the hose to shower your cats or whatever, than just unhook and have your normal shower. DO NOT ORDER THIS UNLESS YOUR TUB SPOUT IS SMALLER THAN MAYBE A 1".

I bought this to make washing my dogs a little easier and faster. It helps but
it doesn't quite fit right over my faucet; the attachment is very rigid so it doesn't completely close over and water escapes at the connection. It would work so much better if the faucet attachment was made of a more flexible plastic but we make do.

This seems to fit my faucet well but once you turn the water on, the water pressure pushes the hose off the faucet. Doesn't seem to stay on long enough to bathe my dog.

I desperately needed to get a portable shower to use in the bathtub after an accident left me unable to walk into or stand in the shower. After reading the reviews of the various portable showers, I decided on this one and based on reviews was expecting the worst, i.e. that it wouldn't fit the tub faucet, water would shoot everywhere, or it would pop off during use. BTW, the tub is a regular tub with just a Moen faucet with a diamond shaped slightly flared opening and does not have a shower. The portable shower arrived on time and it actually fit on the faucet. It worked fine as long as I didn't turn the water on full blast. No leaks, no pop-offs. The spray wasn't a lot of water but that worked fine for me because 1) a lot of pressure would have been painful and 2) would also probably have sprayed all over since I had to sit on a shower/tub chair.

Suffice it to say it worked well for me.

This did not fit the spout on my tub. The material is not at all pliable even when soaking in hot water. I read many reviews here before purchasing and tried just about every idea other reviewers had indicated they had tried to get this on the spout of my tub. Unless your tub has plain vanilla fixtures from the 50's this will most likely not work for you and be a waste of money and time. I threw it in the trash rather than fuss with packaging and paying to return. Save yourself some frustration and make a trip to Home Depot. I would also suggest you trace your spout on a piece of paper and take it with you - will save you a second trip!
