Big waste of time reading juvenile fiction.

I read and enjoyed the first book in the Cottonwood series. In fact, I could probably give that book 5 stars. With that in mind, I was anxious to read the second book. That one was less enjoyable--but might be able to rate 4 stars. This third book--is ridiculous. Never before have I read a book featuring a three year old boy as the main character. The endless baby chatter is boring and the only reason I continued reading was to see if the author would actually find a story among all the baby-talk and dog-barking. I haven't reached the end of the book--in fact--not certain that I can endure many more three-year-old conversations. Sorry, but in my opinion, this book is a bomb.
