A great product for pompadour/slicked back style hair.

Previously had been using Crew - Grooming Cream for my slicked back/pompadour hair style. The Crew works fine, but tends to be a bit heavy and lot's of shine. The O'Douds pomade (Heavy Hold) is harder to work with initially, but seems to require less product to achieve the same, if not better results (and has a more natural, matte look in your hair). The O'Douds is much more of a hard wax to start and requires you to almost pick a piece out of the tin and rub it between your hands to heat it up so you can run it through your dried hair. The Crew was already like a room temp butter when applying it. This is maybe why the O'Douds requires less product but has a better hold all day. The smell in the can and when you first apply is very strong (manly). It mellows after a while so you don't have to worry about your head smelling like a bottle of cologne. Either way, I like the smell so not a big deal for me.
