The Sleeper's Dance is a Victorian-era adventure with white-knuckle suspense and good old-fashioned world building. It's like classic Arthur Conan Doyle, with modern sprinklings of Michael Crichton and Clive Barker.
I won't spoil the story for you, other than to say the story packs one hell of a punch. It's a exhilarating narrative that plunges headlong into emotion, madness and tragedy. This isn't just your run-of-the-mill horror tale. It's a mature and gritty meditation on human nature itself.
Mouse Diver Dudfield is an up and coming Kiwi author to watch out for! I eagerly await her next story. :)
