Top critical review
I wanted to like it more than I did.

So I like how the Oculus Rift looks with this, its snaps in place well but there are some major flaws.
I got excited about the New and Improved statement but it was a fail for me and I will be returning it. Basically, there are 4 major flaws.
1. The face pad extends past the sensor so the rift would start all the time even when im not wearing it, basically if it sensed motion it would just start up. Extremely annoying as I would wake up and my computer was running at full steam for hours.
2. There is light bleed through the orange plastic, I love the two-tone look but its probably a requirement they change this to full black and make it denser.
3. I'm not sure why but the gap in the nose space is larger, it seems about the same as the original faceplate but perhaps because the foam is denser it doesn't tighten to my face as closely as the factory face pad.
4. The dense foam left a mark on my face for about an equal amount of time as I play, so far I've used it 3x, first time I played for nearly an hour, and the markings stuck to my face for an hour, it's more of a defined marking also. The next day I played for 3-4 hours I not only had marks for 4 FULL HOURS it also left me feeling a bit strange, hard to explain, something like VR dizziness which I haven't had in over a year (been doing VR for about a year and a half), I think it was just cutting off circulation even though the headset was not overly tight. Lastly because of this foam i think i couldnt get my eyes as close to the lens and everything felt about 5% more blurry, i could be wrong about this but i kept adjusting and it just didnt seem sharp.
I hope this is helpful, I wish Bionik the best of luck they are not too far off but these points made it a hard pass for me.
