You are all crazy

To everyone who is raving about this book:
Make a list of things a good novel has. Then make a list of what this book has. They aren't even close. I understand, this is book 9 of a series, so the only people reading this book are already fans of the series, but if we don't accurately rate this book the author will not understand that this quality of book is not ok to publish.
I adore this series and just about anything Mr. Dalzelle publishes. That said, this was not a book that belongs with the rest of the omega force books.
An illusive bad guy is introduced. Little to no info on this except they have met. No development of relationship with son. No development of relationship with Kellea. Nothing of substance happens in this book. Several new things are begun, nothing is wrapped up, nothing. At the end of this book you think, ok, now let's get into the meat of the plot! But the book is done.
This "book" should have been the opening chapters of the next book. A lot of time is spent acquire quest, get data thing, kage slices it, go to next thing, get data thing, rinse repeat.
Whoever is giving this book 5 stars is letting their love of the series cloud their judgement of a good book, or possibly don't know what a good book involves.
Hopefully OF10 will start to do the things we all hoped this book would do, i like the direction things are headed.
