Due to life-threatening medical experiences in her life, Mimi Emmanuel has gifted her readers with a plan to bring more perspective on life, celebrate every day you have left, and create your vision of a life you would be proud to live so you can leave an imprint on those you have touched. Writing a Eulogy to-be allows you to enjoy your final party. Writing your Eulogy to-be will keep you on tract to living the life that matches that eulogy. Mimi's book has been a unique gift and being a cancer survivor, I plan to utilize it.
An inspiring book that makes you think. How do you want to be remembered? Are you really doing the things that will make your life meaningful? The author writes about the topic in a creative way. While it's a short read, it sticks with you. She gets her point across without a lot of fluff. Well done.
Mimi Emmanuel invites us all to live lives of significance NOW - not some distant time in the future - and graciously shows us how. By sharing her own path of enlighted awareness she instills a sense of hope, clarity, and urgency. Live your best life today - the inspired way.
The book is an awesome interesting read, I found that the book is well written and easy to understand. Writings is my hobby that is why I get this book. So I learn how to write my own eulogy. This is one of the best helpful interesting guide for me thanks.
This book made me think about how I would like to be remembered. I'm excited to download the outline and try writing my own eulogy and I'm sure eulogy to be. It is fun to hear the different ideas and examples of funeral services.
An excellent and amusing idea that can be implemented to improve your life and leave a legacy! The author has suggested an unusual way of creating your life plan is to think of the person you would like to be remembered as and then live up to it. A quick, short and amusing read - not a dirge or a sorrowful book at all. Pick it up and have a read. You only have a better life plan to gain!
Your life's story creates your legacy. Re-write it if need be. It is not too late to intentionally start creating your legacy, the best it can be.
I am so encouraged as I read this book. If for some reason you had looked back in life what this book does is it gives you a jolt to look ahead and run your race with great agility!
Mimi Emmanuel guides the reader in this book to start living every single minute of their lives as a bonus. I have read another book by Mimi Emmanuel and her attention to detail and excellence is of a person who truly experienced a near death experience and treasures the value of living her life on purpose.
Why wait to start celebrating your life? Get this book and get the perspective you need to help you adjust if necessary and begin to celebrate your life every single day!
This book really made me think about how I would like to be remembered. I've heard about adding things to my "bucket list" but that always seemed to be written from a position of scarcity. It was always a list of things to do before it's too late.
But this book encouraged me to think about my life from a position of abundance. It encouraged me to think about how I wish to live my life now and how I want to be remembered.
Then I thought, I don't want someone else to define my life. I want to do that.
The author shares her story about how she wants to be remembered and provides a template for you to write your own "eulogy-to-be" as she describes it.
This book reminds me of a great inventor named Alfred who happened to invent, among other things, dynamite. When his brother Ludvig died, a French newspaper mistakingly printed Alfred's name in the obituary and stated that, "The merchant of death is dead."
How that must have affected Alfred Nobel is a mystery to me. But one can only assume that he made changes in his life. Because of the endowment he left behind, the Nobel Prize was created and named after him.
This book is like a calling to anyone who reads it that, if they choose, they can be the author of their lives and determine how their eulogies are written and how they will be remembered --just like the author, Mimi Emmanuel; just like Alfred Nobel.
Love the Author's new book. I have had the pleasure to read her books and this one was amazing. What I love about this book is that it reminds us to focus on the now. Writing an eulogy about ourselves is a great idea as it really does get you clear on both where you are and where you want to be. I highly recommend adding this book to your collection.
