This is such a sweet story. My daughter loved it! She's 3. She now wants to make paper dolls. The product picture is a little confusing as it looks like it should come with a CD or dis of some kind. We did not receive a CD. However, we love the story and illustrations.
Love love love love LOVE this book! My daughter received it as a gift and l thought it was so adorable that I bought it for my nieces. They love it too! A great book for little girls (and it made me shed a tear or two.)
Julia Donaldson doesn't disappoint. After reading this, my daughter immediately wanted to make paper dolls. of course, I can't remember how, so I have managed to stall her until i can google it :-) Never fear with a Donaldson book- they are all great!
I am saving this for Christmas for my granddaughter, as an introduction to cutting out paper dolls. I think the book would be a good way to start a lesson in a classroom about families, friends or the diversity we have in this country.
