About 4 years ago I Replaced the front door speakers in my 08 2500 diesel ram(very loud motor with stock exhaust) and installed a pioneer nex4200. Sounded ok. Put them on an amp and WOW! Super loud and super clear. No distortion from the two p2’s pounding in the backseat whatsoever. Had them on multiple amps (kicker, ss autotek, kenwood, crunch and Memphis) Memphis sounded the best but none of them left me disappointed. If you don’t like these speakers you must be of the upper echelon of the music listening world and have something the public can’t afford because I have not heard anything better. I’ve been installing and around a lot of car speakers for the past 20 years and seen some real deal systems worth thousands. (40,000 watts with 3 alternators and 9 extra deep cycle batteries was the biggest) I can’t wait til I can afford the 5.25” for the rear doors. Crisp clean outstanding sound from one of the leaders in the car audio industry. Buy them and you won’t regret it. But make sure you wake them up and amplify them.
