Not for pet households but great otherwise

My family has purchased 3 of these in the past 3 years, so I have input from all of us.
My grandma has had hers the longest: single super tidy old lady with no pets who cleans often, this this is perfect for her.
Mom got hers over a year ago: she has 1 corgi and keeps an immaculate house, cleaning often. She had to replace her brush head bc it broke after 6 months and now the replacement doesn't suck as well as the first one. Corgi hair is pretty short still so it doesn't clog her head too bad.
Me: I have a sheltie and various other dogs that I foster and a kid who leaves legos everywhere. I don't clean regularly, and when I do, I basically have to spot sweep big stuff before I turn on the vacuum so I don't suck up legos or clog the head with dog hair. But even this doesn't save the head: dog and human hairs wrap around the rod the head rotates on, clogging it all up. The head won't turn unless you get rid of them.
So in short, no kids and no dogs, this is great for you. The suction is good, tho you'll need to unplug and plugin a lot bc the chord is not long or use an extension.
Households with short hair dogs, still ok .
Long hair dogs, don't bother unless you sweep before you vacuum which is so silly.
