I heard a lot about this GUNSLINGER pedal in the forums, and reviews Amazon, and on YT, and I was really impressed with what I heard and saw.
So when I finally got this thing in my hands and went to hook it up to my Fender Mustang V, I was met with the setback of being short a set of Y cables to hook it up to the amp.... These cables are not available on Amazon so I had to special order them from another music website.
Three weeks later I got the cables, and hooked the pedal up to my amps FX loop. The effect I'm getting is not as impressive as what others have gotten, I don't know if it's the pedal, or my amp? But I get a lot of feed back, the tone is tinny, and doesn't sound full to my ears, maybe the pedal just isn't compatible with my digital amp or fx loop, but overall I'm left disappointed and depressed about it coz I was hoping this would take my tone to that, over the top level....
Apparently that's not gonna happen with the DOD GUNSLINGER. Build quality is to be desired, I don't care for the brushed metal housing, the blue LED is super bright, and the foot switch is stiff when switching it on or off, and does not work smoothly at all.
I give it only TWO STARS, one for fast delivery, and one for the seller for trying to offer a great deal to bedroom rockers like myself.. . But it loses stars on tone, digital fx loop compatibility, build quality, and because it's caused more problems than it was worth.
