Works fine once you set it up, but the set up is far from intuitive and ends up being frustrating. If you plan on taking it somewhere, be sure it's set up and all bugs worked out before you go. Connect and power through USB only.

Does what it says on the tin: USB3 powered, and works as a USB3 DispayLink video device; with recent drivers from DisplayLink this is even usable in Linux (tested on Ubuntu 17.10). Acceptable brightness and field of view.

The monitor itself is fine. However if you're on a mac forget it! As soon as I upgraded to HIGH SIERRA, the thing no longer worked.. Their website for help is has multiple areas to enter your information to finally get to a chat line. Then the chat didn't work. When I finally got to telephone support, they informed me what I already knew - "oh sorry, it doesn't work with High Sierra" - maybe a new driver will come out soon...
