I have a Chord Qutest in my main system and I love it. It gets me moving all the time. And I was saying to a friend recently that I just couldn't get into headphones because the music is all stuck in my head and I need to feel it in my body. Obviously, I've never owned a good headphone amp. So I wondered... and I got a Mojo. I put it on and didn't hear anything different immediately. I was a bit let down. Then I couldn't take my headphones off. And I was drawn to my best tracks, my showcases, noticing details and textures that my big system clearly loses in the fight with my walls. I was dancing around my room like I was at a club. I have no idea how this is accomplished, but it's clearly what they mean by PRAT, and this little guy was built for it.
Wonderful product— really adds clarity to my music, takes out all the fuzz in vocals that was normally present when using the audio out from my macbook. Having spent a hefty amount of money on the mojo, i was sketical when i plugged it in and planned to send it back, when I first played Etta James - At Last, I couldn’t help but laugh from my disbelief in how wonderful this DAC sounds. An wonderful DAC far and away the best! I currently run this through my home setup with a Marantz 1060 routed to two Klipsch RP-500m speakers and the sound is truely sublime. It does get hot when it is connected to a charger while playing but that is irrelevant to me since it sits on a shelf during operation.
