Buy this product if you want to pull your hair out of frustration

Unless you want to spend countless hours trying to sync the cam to your app, and getting it to stream reliably, please do yourselves a favor and stay away from this product. When it comes to a product intended to monitor a baby, I’d expect reliable and fast to be the main goals for any product manager. Alas, the Arlo folks think it is acceptable to recommend restarting your router, uninstalling / reinstalling the Arlo app, and restarting your phone if the cam is stuck “updating” and now showing anything in your app. Surely, those are the exact activities I’d be looking to do when a crying baby wakes us up in the middle of the night. Funny enough, about the time I decided to return this product, I got invited by Arlo to take a customer satisfaction survey. I filled out the questionnaire but their “Submit” button appeared static in my browser and did not allow me to tap on it and submit my feedback. This was the last nail in the coffin.
