Top positive review
Just like the other review stated

I'm writing this review as I use the laptop. Just like the other review stated, this thing is as close as you can get to a macbook. This Acer does not make a single noise. I put my ear up to it attempting to hear the smallest of movements but I just heard silence. As I'm writing this review, the bottom of the laptop is not even warm. It's almost cold to the touch. After setting it up, removing a bunch of bloatware, disabling a bunch of unnecessary startup programs, this thing starts up lightning fast. I'm talking 5-10 seconds max (from pressing the power button to the computer being unlocked). From a sleeping point maybe 2-3 seconds from pressing the button to unlocking it. The design is awesome, the keyboard is great for typing, and the back-lit keyboard is useful. So far I've been using this laptop just for using small applications and web browsing (I've been using it for 3 hours now with normal brightness) and the remaining estimated battery life is 4 hours and 33 minutes as I type (68% remaining). The metal it's made out of feels nice. The laptop is only about 3.3lbs so it's definitely portable. Everything runs super smoothly on this laptop since it has the latest gen i5-7200u processor (great processor btw) 8gb of memory and a 256gb SSD.
The only thing I would complain about this laptop is the brightness might not be suitable for everyone. For me - a usually indoor laptop user - the brightness is perfect. But I can see how a some people might want a brighter screen.
Overall, I doubt there's a better laptop than this for $600.
