Love my Pi!
Reviewed in the United States on May 8, 2017
My Pi 3 came a couple of days early, and thanks to the NOOBS system on the SD card I was up and running shortly afterwards. I had not used a Raspberry Pi before this. I have since flashed cards with OctoPrint (my primary interest), and Retropie. The Pi 3 is probably overkill for OctoPrint, and I ordered a Pi Zero W to dedicate to my 3D printer. Still exploring all the features of Retropie, but I already had a large collection of ScummVM and DOSBox capable games, The Pi 3 will probably end up being my 3 yr old's first computer running '90's era educational software, music, and videos (and of course Quake for Dad). Using our 55" TV as a monitor makes for an awesome display. I had plenty of SD cards, keyboards, mice, HDMI cables, and mini-USB cables around the house, so I didn't need a kit with a lot of extra 'stuff'. For the hobbiest computer nerd who isn't intimidated by the need to make command-line modifications, this is a fun little computer.
