Not Very Practical and Weak Magnetic Closure
June 2, 2018
It's nice as far as appearances go, but practicality is lacking since this leaves the Joy Cons exposed, but I knew that when I purchased it. However, after about two days, the magnetic closure hardly holds the cover over the screen. The closure itself is okay since when I take the Switch out, the magnet holds the cover but with the Switch inside, if I so much as tilt the system a little bit, the flap falls forward. It makes a good stand and you can use your Switch in tabletop mode with three different angles using this case, but you still can't access the charging port since it's on the bottom.
It's somewhat well-made, but the magnet barely holds when the Switch is in the case, leaves the Joy Cons exposed, still can't charge the Switch while in tabletop mode, and of course, you have to take it off in order to dock the Switch. There's also no way to neatly tuck the cover back when in handheld mode you either have to hold it against the Switch awkwardly or just let it hang down. Cons outweighed the pros.
