Great game, it can be as silly or as serious as you want. You can just drive around trying to run people over with your motorcycle and chase care packages while doing back flips, or you can sneak around in a gillie suit sniping people from 300 meters away with a silenced sniper.The strategies and tactics vary greatly according to your play style and can also be changed up by playing in the various game modes: Third/First-person and as a solo, duo, or squad of four.

The game is still in early access, but given its been highly successful and receives regular updates, so I don't foresee any issues of this game being abandoned in the coming years.

The game is also very demanding in terms of computer requirements.

OS - 64-bit Operating Systems (Windows 7, Windows 8.1 & Windows 10)
Processor - Intel Core i3-4340 / AMD FX-6300
GPU - nVidia GeForce GTX 660 2GB / AMD Radeon HD 7850 2 GB
HD Space - 30 GB available space
RAM - 6 GB RAM
DirectX - Version 11

Many players have reported issues that can be solved by having the game installed on an SSD, as well as upgrading to a more powerfull CPU and GPU. For reference, my specs are the following:
Operating System: Windows 10 Home 64-bit (10.0, Build 15063) (15063.rs2_release.170317-1834)
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3820QM CPU @ 2.70GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.7GHz
RAM: 12288MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 12238MB RAM
Page File: 5883MB used, 26354MB available
DirectX Version: DirectX 12
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7970M

Note the 20 Gig page file, this helped solve a texture loading issue since I do not have an SSD. These settings allow me to run the game on Low settings @ 1080p for around 50-60 fps.

The game is still in early access(beta).
Pros:
-It is constantly being patched/updated and still supported unlike most early access games that tend to update a few times a year.
-Never have an issue finding full lobbies.
-Adding new game modes every few months.
-It most enjoyable when playing with friends in a 2 man or 4 man squad.

Cons:
-It gives almost no information on tips or how to play(so newcomers may struggle for a bit)
-It does have quite a bit of bugs which can cause multiple crashing.
-You can randomly get a glitch where the buildings won't load but you can see other players. If you take advantage of this glitch, it will result in you being banned.
-The game is nowhere near optimized yet. As multiple people have reported, running an i7, GTX 1080, with 16gb of RAM, you will still get spots where you are dipping under 60FPS.

This Game is really good and rather than get it directly from steam i had a giftcard for amazon, got the code and put it into steam and BOOM, Then after only 7 hours of downloading and patches I WAS IN!! AFTER turning all my settings down to the absolute minimum because this game is so poorly graphically optimized it was smooth sailing, now all i have to do is get gud and ill be set. In all honesty this game is a ton of fun and i havent been this pumped about playing a game since i got adicted to world of warcraft when i was 16. I deff reccomend getting this game as long as your pc is pretty good, my pc is far from great and its super playable on low settings.

I have a i3 6320 CPU and an HD Radeon 7850 with 8 Gigs of ram and its playable after some serious tweaking and i run a good fps rarely noticably lags.

Not a real game, but really fun especially for a greenlight. I like some of the direction Blue Hole is taking but I think it doesn't really have the potential to keep getting better and better over long periods of time.

Gameplay is still buggy and feels a little clunky, and the devs took back a promise to not have microtransactions in the game until full release. I don't think it's a huge deal, but the change of attitude is a little worrying.

TL;DR I'd buy it for hardcore FPS fans, but not worth it for people who aren't into the competitive format.

This game is only in Early Access, but it is lots of fun. It's a Battle Royale style shooter where you must the last man standing. You parachute into the battlefield with only your clothes. You have to find weapons, and other items in abandoned buildings and gear up to survive other players. What I like about this game is that when there is a lot people in an area looking for the best weapon. The scene becomes chaotic and that is what makes this game enjoyable. Another cool feature is that you don't need to spend real world money for cool accessories for your character. You can buy look boxes with in game currency you earn by playing this game. This game is a must buy for fans of H1Z1 King of the Kill because of skill level you need to be the best. This game is not for the faint of heart.

If you're not good at first-person shooters this one isn't for you

First, there is nothing wrong with this game. In fact, it is very well done. My only gripe is that there are people who play this game like it is their full-time job and easily take out someone like myself who is just playing after work or just to have some downtime. As such, those players out there will easily find you and take you out before you have had a chance to have any fun. That being said, if you are really into last-man-standing and first-person shooters, this one is for you. If you like Fortnite and you want something more realistic than Fortnite, this one is also for you. For me, however, as a casual gamer and not a full-time, live in your mom's basement (not that there is anything wrong with that sort of person), kind of player, it is often frustrating and I find myself not wanting to play it because getting killed within a minute or two of the game starting is just no fun.

An intense fight to the finish. Beautiful maps. Exceptional audio effects. I love the game play. There are many controls to learn, but they’re all arranged quite memorably on the keyboard once learned.

Updates are huge. Load times seem lengthy.

I like the option to replay from your opponents’ views, as it takes away the uncertainty of what happened to end your match.

There are a variety of game battles from which to choose. I always play single, but there are team matches too. I played a couple team matches, and it seems fun, too.

It’s been many years since I purchased an online FPS game. Unreal Tournament was the last one I bought, and although PUBG offers a different type of play, it is fun to have an online shooter for when the mood for arena action strikes.

Tired of Fortnite or just want to return to a real (if sorta buggy) battle royale experience that some call "OG Battle Royale"
I'll be honest with you, I only got this because I got an Amazon Gift Card for Christmas, I'm glad I did. I played this years ago when it was the most popular thing on the face of the planet, I checked the population of the game and immediately justified the purchase. Fear not, this game is not dead, it's full of players, a lot are vets but there are plenty of newbs coming in from the holidays. Very fun, competitive, I love the gunplay being an Arma series fan. Excellent game even in 2021, don't waste your time on some of these other BR games, this will give you nostalgiac feels and you don't have to worry about sliding and gliding through the air on a hoverboard or somethin...basic, fun Battle Royale title that's held it's own even to date.

Also provides a pretty different experience whether you choose to play solo or in a squad of 2 or 4 players, with Duos being my preferred way to play.
