This little thing is pretty cool!! I bought my husband and I one for each of our cars and after owning it for about a month I can attest that it’s durable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing. I wanted something that wouldn’t be an eyesore and draw much attention in our vehicles while not compromising quality and this is it! The magnet is very strong, I have an iPhone X and my husband an 8+ and it’s perfect for either. I put the piece that attaches to the phone behind our iPhone cases (where it’s not visible) and it still attached perfectly. Such a great buy!

Magnet is strong, adhesion not so much

Adhesive lasted less than 3 days. Maybe because South Carolina is sometimes the corner of Hell in the summer, but I did as directed and waited before putting my phone on there. I have a 6S so nothing heavy. I ended up using super glue (really probably shouldn't have done that if I want to resell my car one day---but I plan on my daughter getting it), and now its fine. The magnet on the phone that connects to the part in the car is super connective. I just wish it wasn't solid black. It covers what used to be a cute pop socket. Maybe they can come up w/ a cuter idea. And better adhesive. Or just plan ahead and super glue it or get yourself better adhesive ahead of time.

I used this mount for approximately two or three weeks before the adhesive on the mount became loose, and one day when I placed my phone on the mount it disconnected from the car and was no longer sticky. I am glad the manufacturer did not want to damage the vehicle, but also would have liked a better adhesive so I would not need to try and find an automotive-safe adhesive for the mount or be required to find a new mount for my phone.

**EDIT** However, the customer service team is wonderful. They contacted me immediately when I had this issue and promptly worked with me to resolve this issue. They have taken my feedback and are working with the manufacturer to ensure a quality product.

I was worried that I wasn't going to like this product because I didn't like the idea of gluing something to my Dashboard. I originally had a phone mount that goes into the air vent, which, never worked well because my air vents rotate 360*. But I bought the Humixx Ring holder and it said that is was magnetic and I decide to get this, as well.

It is pretty darn durable. I thought it was going to be super cheap but it has some weight to it and it also has 3M tape. Both items I bought come with 2-3 replacement tape backings and the mount also came with a small, thin magnetic plate that you can stick to your phone if you don't already have something magnetic stuck to the back. It is thin enough that you would be able to stick it within an Otterbox case (probably) and the magnet is more than strong enough to hold onto the mount that way.

Overall, with the amount of spares/extras there are for both these items and for that price, I am completely pleased with this purchase!

Awesome little mount!

Great magnet! I need to take a picture of where I mounted mine. It’s over a crease in my dash, but it stills holds very sturdily. The hardest part about mounting was making sure my phone had room to be turned either way. I just set the mount down and realized I had the angle wrong twice and had to restick it. Yet, it is still holding strong. I currently am using the larger rectangular magnet between my phone and my case. (I have a LifeProof case) It works wonderfully! My phone doesn’t move while driving. However, I am updating soon and will have a wireless charging phone. I will update with how the smaller magnet works with that phone. I do wish it could rotate downward just a tad more. My phone is still angled upwards when the mount is at its lowest point in the “v”. This causes sunlight to sometimes reflect on my screen and makes it difficult to see it. Other than that, this mount is great!

It easily mounted on the dash of my semi truck and can hold my phone with a protective case that is also a back-up battery making it heavier then a standard phone. The metal plate stuck right on the back of the case. This is hands down the best phone holder I have use and I have used many of them. It is simple, practical and it works. The design of the holder is attractive and low profile --you can hardly tell is even there. My issue with the other phone holders is that they are big, cumbersome, and distracting when attached to the windshield   This phone holder addresses and solves all those problems. I highly recommend this product.

I've purchased many car phone mounts during the past years. This Humixx magnetic phone mount definitely deserves a five star review. I have an Apple XS Max with an armor case. This combination is rather heavy. I tried many magnetic car phone mounts. I knew that there must be a strong sturdy one out there. Based on Amazon reviews, I decided to buy the Humixx. I was not disappointed. It has a unique stylish small design that does not compromise it's quality. My phone is stable on the dashboard. You can really rotate it in multiple angles as stated in the item's description.

I’ve bought two or three different styles of car mounts for my phone and disliked every one of them. The type that clip onto your vent either block my AC In the summer, or heats up my phone in the winter. The type that go on your dashboard with the big mount take up too much space and block my view while driving. I think this mount is a great middle ground for those two problems. It comes with a magnet adhesive that you attach to the back of your phone and that’s what helps it keep attached to the magnetic mount. I found that the phone stayed put and it didn’t fall when making any turns. I like it

Pros:
- Easy easy install
- Very sleek and simple, love the look of the mag car cellphone mount. I dont like bulky eye sore mounts in my car
- Magnetic hold
- Brings metal plates with laminate to place on your phone case or phone
- mount is on a ball joint so it is easy to adjust to all angles

Cons:
- Can only install on minimal car surfaces since you need a flat surface large enough for the entire 3M sticky tape to properly set. Most car dashboards are not flat at all and have lots of curved parts. Probably need a 1.5" flat surface area for proper adhesion
- if you can only set on top of the dash then the ball mount can only tilt so much and you may not get a good parallel/flat view of your phone
- Upon installation it recommends not to use the mount for 72 hours to allow proper adhesion
- With metal plate on back of phone, wireless charging is not an option anymore

Conclusion:
I LOVE THIS MOUNT. I really appreciate simplicity with efficiency and go aesthetics. This mount has all of that! But beware of lack of flat surfaces on your vehicle. My 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee (BIG DASHBOARD) truly only has one location where this can properly be installed and get a good angle on your phone. Also, if you like to use wireless charging at home or in the office then I recommend you install the metal plate onto a phone case instead of phone. I keep a phone case with a metal plate installed in the car and just switch the case in the car.
