Wonderful 15" laptop under 3lb with a bright and perfect ...

This is the best portable 15" laptop under 3lb with a bright screen/long battery life and easy USB-C charging (the reason I chose this over the Microsoft Surface book 2) ; Simply opening the latch activates the windows boot (a cool Samsung feature) and log-in screen comes up in about 8 seconds. There is a nice dedicated fingerprint scanner key, which makes logging into the windows crazy fast!
This computer is made very well and has a good keyboard; It comes with a small wall charger (similar to Mac book but not magnetic) and since it also charges via USB-C port, one can leave the power cable at home (I tested RAVPower 20100 power-bank and Grandstar 75W USB-C wall charger). Both methods of USB-C completely charged the laptop within 2 hours from from 20% charge. You can't expect this charging speed with USB-C phone charger so buy the accessories accordingly. I used it during my overseas trip and battery (to watch movies) easily lasted ~10 hours with 70% brightness; Surfing web with 50% brightness should give you over 16 hour battery life. I can't say enough about the screen on this laptop (great colors and extremely bright for outdoor use).
Overall this is the perfect computer I have ever owned in the last 20 years ( I went through 10-12 laptops). While it is expensive and has no touch screen (which I don't like), it has a unique 15" screen (feels much smaller than the usual 15.6" bulky laptops) and everything else I mentioned in the review. I wanted to get a 13" Dell XPS but the screen size was a bit smaller for my aging eyes and Samsung felt much lighter to carry around; XPS 15 and Surface-Book pro 15 were too heavy and expensive. LG Gram 15 is a close competitor with similar weight/USB-C charging, but will cost more (Samsung is made more sturdy compared to LG).
I did a fresh install of windows 10 and all the drivers got installed without any glitches except for the Intel display issue.
The latest driver Version: 18.104.22.16825 Date: 4/26/2018 installed by windows resulted in screen flickering, which resolved after replacing the driver with an older version 22.214.171.12478 Date: 5/30/2017.
Windows won't let you replace the driver with a old one easily so you have to follow a work-around by doing the following;
Download the older version from Intel website.
Unzip the file to a designated location or folder.
Right-click Windows Start icon and open Device Manager.
Click Yes when prompted for permission from User Account Control.
Expand the Display adapters section.
Right-click the Intel® graphics entry and select Update Driver Software.
Click "Browse my computer for driver software".
Click "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer".
Click "Have Disk".
Access the designated location or folder, and access a folder called "Graphics".
Select the file called "igdlh64" or "igdlh".
Click Open, then click OK, and finally click Next. Drivers will be installed. Reboot your computer.
Final Word: Buy it and you won't be disappointed!
