I've had my Surface Studio 2 for a little over 7 months now and I am pretty happy with it. It is a beautiful system and I don't regret my purchase. Be aware that Microsoft has made certain sacrifices on the construction of this system. The biggest is that they have put all of the components in a very small enclosure. Because of this, the components are basically similar to laptop components. In other words, don't expect the same performance as high-end desktops. I always get a little nervous when running games or applications that are computationally heavy for long stretches of time. The system will get very hot in these cases. In some cases I have experienced thermal throttling. This isn't an issue for 2d art/illustration applications. (Which is the system's real strength.) I'm a little disappointed with the N-Trig technology that Microsoft uses for the stylus. You pretty much have to use some type of software stabilization to compensate for its poor design--you will get jitter otherwise. Microsoft either needs to improve this technology or ditch it. The digitizer on my iPad Pro is much better and I didn't pay nearly as much for the iPad as I did the Surface Studio 2!
