First, I have to say that I really like this laptop. It's fast, thin, light, and has plenty of power. I bought this to replace an aging Macbook Pro, and I have no regrets. It's easy to travel with, and (did I mention) has plenty of power.
A couple of nitpicks about this laptop:
1) There are some driver issues. I have had a couple BSODs, and another issue where the screen looks like a 1970's TV on an un-tuned channel (complete static). Mostly, it has been stable, but once a week or so, one of these issues jumps out. Search the forums on Lenovo's website, you will see others with similar issues.
2) After using the laptop for about an hour, there are fingerprints everywhere.
Overall, I haven't had the laptop long enough to determine whether I would buy it again or not. So far, I like what I've seen, and would be leaning towards purchasing this model again.
The team at Laptop Authority are really good people to deal with. Had one issue during the purchase, and they resolved it very quickly and to my complete satisfaction. Will definitely buy from them again, whether this model or another.
Unfortunately, I purchased the X1 Lenovo ThinkPad and it crashed permanently, never to restart after about 30 minutes of first use. A replacement arrived and after about two weeks of use, this one died a premature death as well. Needless to say, I have given a lot of thought about moving back to a Mac... 'cause it just works better!
I was supprised to see that ThinkPad X1 Extreme manufactured by Lenovo is still offering only Intel processor and not a single option with better AMD processors. I would buy immediatelly that laptop with 4k OLED screen and AMD Ryzen!
