It's like Just Dance; it registers your (one) arm movement only. However, you definitely get more points if you move your whole body.

The MJ Wii game tracks the movement, speed, and angle of the wii-mote in your right hand. This is not to say that the rest of your body won't be moving as well as you play this game. The Wii version is very exact. After playing Dance Central, I think the Kinect version will be much more lenient with the moves, but the Kinect game will track your whole body giving us a whole new dance experience. I think both games are/will be great!
