The actual pages of the book are in good condition but the cover is banged up and it wasn’t sealed in any protective plastic wrap, only the Amazon mailing envelope.

I… i did not realize i would finish reading this so fast. Every word was magical. I probably highlighted most of the book. What a collection of amazing, vulnerable writings. 10/10 would recommend to everyone.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this so much!!! Amanda Lovelace has done it again and has written a stellar poetry collection! Every single poem was powerful and I felt the power in her words! I think everyone needs to read this because Amanda Lovelace keeps improving her poems with every published collection (and she was stellar to begin with, so she is really perfecting her craft). I HIGHLY recommend this collection and all of Amanda Lovelace’s collection. I feel so empowered and enlightened after completing this!! I am loved it so much I have a physical copy!!

I have all her books and every single one of them are beautifully written and relevant to different stages of my life. I have given these books as gifts many times and they loved them too. I highly recommend.

An abusive alcoholic ex used to call me that because I never seemed to give enough attention. I wish I had this book back then. Embrace your ice and shine. Thank you Amanda!

Her poems keep getting better and better and are making me feel confident and reassured. I have no idea how or why, but Amanda seems to connect with me through her work and I can’t get enough. Great poet.

Beautifully inspirational in a raw and unapologetic way. It's uncanny how she puts things into words. Can't wait to see what's next.

This poetry is magical. It is what I needed to hear to sooth my aching heart. Unfortunately I don't have any female role models who understand my situation, but Amanda certainly does. I LOVE her work.

Like all Amanda Lovelace books, incredibly empowering for women. This time the fairy tales are in the form of a big sister giving positive advice to a little sister.

2.0 out of 5 stars Came slightly Ripped/Sticky on the Back
Reviewed in Canada on February 1, 2021
I love the book, and I love the writer, but the back of the book when I opened the package had some of the back cover pieces ripped on the front, and had something sticky like glue on the back. The damage is not severe enough that I expect any exchange or refund. I'm writing this review to remind then people who handle them to check the book before they ship it. The contents of the book are great, but I just wish that someone had checked for the damage before they sent it to me.
