"You Wash, I'll Dry
The simplehuman steel frame dishrack has a swivel spout that pivots so you can drain water directly into the sink, whether you position the dish rack long- or short ways on the countertop. It also has an anti-residue coating that prevents residue buildup and water spots. And you can attach rubber feet to the dishrack in order to raise the swivel spout over high-edge kitchen sinks. Its large capacity is perfect for handling a family's worth of dishes.
Modern Kitchen Aesthetic
This dish drying rack's rust-proof solid stainless steel frame matches the aesthetic of modern upscale kitchen appliances. And a fingerprint-proof coating helps protect against smudges.
Integrated Wine Glass Holder
Hangs up to 4 wine glasses — even those extra-large Bordeaux glasses — so they dry quickly and efficiently.
Easy To Clean
The rust-proof stainless steel dish rack's utensil holder and soft-coated steel wire frame are top-rack dishwasher safe, and you can clean all other parts with warm, soapy water.

My take on specific features:
The swiveling drain spout is ingenious and what initially drew me to this product. I don’t have a ton of counter space in my kitchen, so a narrow bit of counter between the sink and wall is what I was left to work with. Many inferior racks that drain onto trays don’t have the draining edge oriented on a side that would allow it to fit on my small counter space.
The removable wine glass rack and attached drip tray—while not absolutely necessary for a dish rack—totally beats hand drying or drip drying stemware upside down on a rag. The suspension gets that air flowing! When not in use I flip the tray up. When the tray is down I have to slide the whole rack away from the wall a bit, but my sink has enough of a lip to keep the whole rack from toppling into the sink. It does hang over the edge of half of my sink a bit when in this position. (See photos.)
The knife block insert is great for keeping your knives separate and preventing possible rusting. The rack I got my mom for Christmas didn’t come with the knife block, but she didn’t mind so no returns or complaining.
If you have the $80 to spend and are on the fence, don’t be. It’s worth it.
I bought it on sale because I was very dissatisfied with our old, plastic, impossible to keep clean, dish rack. I never thought a new dish rack could change our kitchen significantly, but it has happened. My boyfriend feels the same way, and he was skeptical at first.
The most important changes for us are as follows: it's big enough for our largest cutting boards and pots. No more balancing or hanging things over the edge and dripping on the counter. The silver holders are actually deep enough that we can safely place knives (most knives, not the 10" or break knives) in the holder without worrying about them getting pushed out and onto feet, or taking up real estate in the main body. Because the water spout (which is a revelation in its own right) can change sides, we were able to orient the rack to best fit our counter space. We did end up with the wine glass rack in a harder to reach position, but we use it less frequently, and the ability to slide stems into the frame negates that issue for up to two glasses.
This is truly well-designed product. I love it.
We are doing a total kitchen, bathroom, cabinet counter top remodel, and putting in hard wood butcher block counter tops. I don't use or want a dish washer, so I have to have a solid well built drainer that will not leak.
It's large, larger than I wanted, but the smaller one would have been to small.
Easy to clean, just wipe it out every night. Even the drain spout can be wiped out with just a knife and a dish cloth. No need to take it apart. Just make a habit of doing it once a day. After all it only takes two seconds. Then no worry of mildew or build up.
Leaves no water marks or finger prints on the stainless steel parts. Just wipe it off.
So far there has been no leakage anywhere, the drain spout works well and it is long enough to reach the sink with out it sitting in it the sink.
Drain system is great, very little water left after a day of cleaning.
The only one I can think of is the price. But I couldn't find anything comparable that would do the job I needed.
