"Great for beginners!" - By Peter Kiss
This book is perfect for dedicated beginners in the french horn! It has some songs that you will most definitely recognize like Vivaldi's Spring. You feel like you accomplish something when playing most songs from the book but be warned. You need to be pretty skilled so about a year of practice or if you practice a lot then at minimum one-half year.(9) -

Price: $9.99 "Amateur musician" - By Debbie S. Verhulsdonk (HONOLULU, HAWAII, US)
I liked that the book had a lot of my favorite songs like "The Blue Danube", "Dance of the Flowers". "Fur Elise", "Greensleeves", "Jesu, Joy of Man Desiring" and my #1 most favorite, "Canon in D"...if you can read music or are just learning, this book is simplified enough, all short versions of songs, even has the "Bridal Chorus", "1812 Overture", "Lullaby" as well as a few others...this is a very good book for beginner aspiring pianists...(3) -

I used to play piano as a kid, and have recently taken it back up. This is really good for getting back into it - a bit more on the intermediate side, but has really helped me. Plus, you can't beat the classics for learning piano. A nice mix of music, and good exposure to classic piano. Highly recommended.(29) -
"I got 3 weeks experience on the uke and played one of these songs in 5 minutes of having the book." - By Scott Waring
Look, I have no experience prior to 3 weeks ago when I started lessons so reading music is like reading Egyptian hieroglyphs. What I need is TABS so I can start playing right away. This book has just that and then some. I love this book. I got it in the mail today and started playing "In the hall of the mountain king," in just 5 minutes thanks to TABS! I think I can also play "Ode To Joy," but it will take a few hours on that one since its slightly more advanced. I won't play them all right away, but I can see me playing all of them in a few months time. This is money well spent and I will buy from this author again.(92) -
"Classical Violin Solos" - By Warren E. Williams (Australia)
The sheet music lives up to its description and is very good for beginners. The pieces are relatively short and provide a good introduction to some of the classics albeit in a brief form.(106) -
"Nice short, relatively simple arrangements of some of the most popular classical music of all time" - By Amazon Customer
NIce short arrangements of some of the most popular classical songs ever for the advanced beginner/intermediate player. There are a few barr chords here and there but most progressions are built on basic chords like Dm, A, C, G with some nifty little finger shiftings to add6, etc that you might useful in composing or adding interest to other musical pieces. These pieces are short, nothing over 2 pages, not so daunting as the full 4 to 6 page versions of most of these songs in advanced books. They sound nice and can be mastered in a relatively short time with regular daily practice. I only gave it four stars because of the barr chords in a so called "easy" book and because some of the songs are a little weird for guitar, who does 1812 Overture or Blue Danube on guitar? Still it ... full review(23) -

"Five Stars" - By Christine Braley
Received book quickly and exactly as described.(12) -
"Perfect for beginners and lower intermediate duets" - By Spencer Bennett (Providence, RI, US)
This is the only music out there for beginning flute/classical guitar duets. It has the advantage of popular pieces in easy arrangements that are attractive in their execution. It also has a large variety of pieces that could be used for different occasions: weddings, special church music, etc. It is probably too simple for the flutist but for the beginning classical guitarist, it is just the ticket. The only disadvantage is that many of the pieces are abbreviated for public performance.(8) -

"Great help in learning to play alto and sopranino" - By J. C. Beadles
I have been studying on my own the alto and sopranino recorders (they're in the same key and have the same fingering). This book gives you songs to play that are of an intermediate level of difficulty. This helps you advance your playing techniques and avoids the boredom of the real simple songs found in books for absolute beginners. Highly recommended.(19)
