At first I gave this a poor review but after watching how to on utube I gave it another try and I have mastered the technique. Keep trying. The trick for me was starting the cutter off on the cutting board to get it to begin to cut in the right direction hope this helps, I find it great now and I'm glad I bought it.(39) -

Fantastic! The shapes are true to scale, e.g. the sphere is perfectly spherical. They are lightweight yet solidly built which makes them easy for transportation. Can't recommend any further to beginners in sketching like me. I have managed to gain a much better understanding on light and shade, tonal colours after only a few hours' of detailed study with a sphere.(39) -

When I was asked to review this book; I was so excited. I had just started planning our school year for a middle schooler and pre-schooler. My oldest is pretty much self led, but still needs me for some things. My youngest is needing some structure; but I want her focus to be play based and hands on learning as long as possible. I was concerned with how I was going to work on motor skills and also didn't want to "forget" various things to teach. Heather's book is an amazing tool for this. It's laid out in 6 easy weekly lessons. It's complete and comprehensive; even with the weekly supply list. It has helped me prepare quick and thorough lessons for my youngest. The only thing I wish it did have is a "master" supply list; since I tend to do all my supply shopping twice a year. While ... full review(12) -

Overall I love it. The inside of the box is a little rough, but the outside and the shapes are perfectly smooth. I'll probably take sandpaper to the inside quickly before giving it to my daughter. That's the only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars.(18) -

This book is worth the price just for the beautiful shawl patterns alone. But, the real value in the book is in understanding shawl design. This book starts with the basic shawl shapes. It will be a good reference to understand a written pattern, to modify a pattern, and to design your own. I'm looking forward to the release of the rest of the books in the series.(17) -

I was so surprised to receive this large bundle of bulding bricks.
The bricks are packaged in a plastic bag, the product received well, so not a big deal.
The pieces are the same size as the brand name version of legos and I found that they could be interchanged without any issues with the brand name version, and the quality is good and so much more economical. I promise you none of them care whether they are name brand blocks or not! These are just as much fun to play with.
One thing that I really enjoy is the little bricks can be grouped in different way, you can have a square one, or when you run out of it, you can combine with two smaller rectangle bricks. So much possibilities! Thats why so many adults still love about building bricks!

A friend recommended these Brighter Cards. I ordered several different card sets (shapes, letters, numbers, words, etc) and have been working them with my 2 year old. He likes the cards and the colors/ pictures on them. He also enjoys putting each card back in the box after we're done with it.
All in all I think these are a good learning tool. And I love the low price!!!!
My only complaint is that the cards are a bit on the thin side.....and when considering that toddlers will be handeling them, they should be thicker to ensure durability and longevity.(354) -
