"An easy to understand pattern book, not a how-to." - by Paula F (Austin, TX)
No this book isn't for begginers, which I would classify myself as because I haven't beaded in years. Now that I have a daughter of my own, my interest has peaked again. I do need to practice and probably refamiliarize myself wih the verbiage, but based on the instructions and the pictures, I am confident this would be a great asset to me. Plus, it isn't marketed as a how-to, it's a pattern book. There is a big difference. This gets straight to the meet. The projects are adorable and customizable. The pictures are just beautiful and motivating. We'll be running to the craft store this weekend!

I received this book in exchange for my honest review.

"Great book for starting out" - by PrincessTigerLilly (Three Rivers, Michigan, United States)
I've been looking to learn how to make beaded jewelry for awhile now and I was utterly confused about everything when it came to what to do to make a jewelry. This book has helped me tremendously, The book goes from what beads to get, the price and how to make the jewelry that's something I haven't seen in a book before. The instructions on how to make the stuff was very easy to understand, and to the point. There wasn't anything that was left out. The jewelry in the book is exceptionally gorgeous as well. This book is a must have for beginners and advanced alike!

*I received the product mentioned above for review purposes. Regardless, I only recommend products I personally use*

"Well done!" - by Maggie Pringlemeir (Novi, MI 48375)
Lovely picture book, filled with the kind of pretty things that make your spirit sing when you see them. The author creates one design, then shows it also made up in various other colors and. It is amazing how different two bracelets can look simply by changing the colors. Extremely well done, although 500 is a wee bit of a stretch. It is more like 125 - 150 designs, each done about 4 different colored. Still, it is a remarkable resource and helps open up the "I wonder how this would look if I used ivory and lavender instead of her colors?". We need that kind of willingness to explore color. It is an excellent book and a worthy addition to any crafter's bookshelf. Colors, after all, can set gone and mood for bracelets and living room rugs and kitchen cabinets/backsplash. ... full review

"Great pattern book" - by Patricia
I do not do beadwork but I am a gourd artist. I got this book last month to get ideas for patterns on my gourds. I really like the book because the author has also given the name of what Nation/Tribe the bead patterns came from. The patterns are large enough to see details. For those who do beadwork she has also included complete instructions and color keys. I will also be using some of these patterns for closed coiling designs on top of some of my gourds.

"Beautiful designs...real eye candy!" - by L. Moore (Delmar, DE.)
I've taken some of the designs in the first half of the book and tweeked them to fit what I am doing. It's great that they are on graph, it's easier to determine what I want to keep.
Still working on the second half of the book. Have plans for some of the flower designs.
Designs are clear and no guessing at all.
Thank you for your talent.

"Lots of information in a 26-page book" - by Marcia (NE Georgia woods)
Don't be fooled by the size of this book--it contains info about materials and supplies, the basics of a Clover loom, 2 ways of warping a loom, increasing and decreasing, lots of additional instructions,11 projects to try, and two pages of Toho bead charts. I'm not crazy about most bead weaving projects (I'm an off-loom weaver so far), but I get loads of ideas from them, and these are no exception. I bought an inexpensive loom (BeadSmith's Bead Loom Kit for Beginners) to see if I was interested, and I received this book before the loom. I think the book is very well written, the photos are beautiful, the drawings are easy to see and very instructional. I was able to apply most of the loom instructions to the use of my loom, even tho' it is much less complicated (fewer moving parts!) than the Clover loom. I'm ... full review

"Perfect for beading, crossstich and quilting" - by K. Aley (Henderson, NV)
This is an awesome book I don't bead, but I saw these patterns and decided to make a postage stamp quilt table topper out of the pattern. It turned out really well. (I cut all of my squares to 1.5"). I think this would also work out well as a crossstich guide. The colors are all in easy-to-read tables telling you exactly how many beads (or fabric squares in my case) you need. Lots of fun Christmas designs.

"YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED" - by Jazzi
Beadweaving is my passion, but I can't not explore crocheting.
I haven't crocheted in years, but because of my love for beaded jewerly I have become obsess with wanting to try all kinds of beaded jewerly.

This is a beautiful book. Every thing is explained. What crocheting hooks to purchase, to what crocheting threads to buy. The book is full of beautiful colors and patterns. It actually looks so easy to do. It's easy to read. I can't wait to get started. I actually purchased her other book which consist of lariats. So, so beautiful are the patterns.
