I have a dual arm vertical mount for my monitors but my ergonomist said I should have the monitors in a horizontal position for less neck strain.
I researched various horizontal mounts and decided on the TNP Dual Monitor Stand Mount.
it is very well constructed and the design is good and sound (I am an engineer). With fully articulating arms and mounting plates it would have been a great mount.
What I did not notice is the main support column was only 16" tall and i needed it to be at least 24" tall (I am 6'5" tall).
if I was not so tall, i would have kept it and it would be great for a shorter person or someone whose desk set up was different than mine.

I bought this dock to set up my 3 monitors on my desktop. It works GREAT! I read some helpful reviews prior to making this purchase. A previous reviewer stated that you should run the software setup disc on your computer before you hooking up the monitors to avoid troublesome setup issues. I did this and the installation was flawless.
The only issue, and the reason I dropped 1 star off, is that one of my 3 monitors sporadically cuts off and on at times. At first I thought it was the monitor. However, while switching cables around a few times, I realized that whatever monitor was connected to the DisplayPort via an adaptor to HDMI was the one that would do it. I read some reviews that this product had issues with the new MacBook Pro generation (rev 2010, the one that can dynamically switch b/w integrated and nVidia chips). So I ordered one to try out it (since drivers change all the time) and I'm happy to report it works great! I'm using the 1.6 BETA 3 drivers from the DisplayLink site ([..]). In fact, it worked so well that I immediately order a second unit. And now, I live in 4 screen bliss.
I didn't realize how useful multi-monitor support was until I read an article from a multi-screen power user (sorry no link). The short of it was that he used one screen for async activities (email, rss, twitter), another screen for real-time communication (skype, im, etc.), and the two middle screen for work with the bigger one being used as primary work ... full review(2,113) -

I've purchased several of the earlier U2713HM Dell monitors and been very happy with those. The U2715H feels like a refinement of the U2713HMs. The legacy ports are gone, making room for more Display Port and HDMI connections which is nice. This display also supports daisy chaining displays with Display Port.
The only complaint I've ever had about Dell 1440p displays is that they don't seem to advertise their full resolution on the HDMI ports. This means that for most laptops only the Display Port works at the full resolution out of the box. The U2715H is no different. The HDMI ports do not default to full 1440p :(
I had also become accustomed to the side mounted USB 3.0 ports on the U2713HM, but the U2715H moves all the USB 3.0 ports to the rear of the display. The U2715H ... full review(1,155) -

I needed to connect a 2nd monitor, with a DVI-D input, to a Wyse thin client. I also had to buy a new monitor since all I had were monitors with VGA inputs. I needed the 2nd monitor as an extended display, not duplicate, (otherwise I could have just used the 2 VGAs I had). I was a little apprehensive since I had already bought the wrong splitter once, (with 2 VGAs) and there was one review saying it would only work with a duplicate display; however, I saw another review that seemed to indicate they were successfully extending displays with this, so I decided to give it a try. When I first connected it, displays were duplicated, but after changing some simple settings as I was directed by our admin, displays were extended just as I had hoped. This is exactly as advertised, it supports two monitors and claps to a desk, so if that is what your looking forward this will suit your need.
Pros:
Very sturdy construction, the clamp, the hinge joints and the stand all seem pretty strong. I feel comfortable with having both my 21in. monitors supported by it.
The slid-on mounting brackets made setup super simple.
All the tools and necessary accouterments were included, which was nice.
Cons:
While the slid-on mounting brakes make installation easy, there is a nut & bolt that hold the monitor to the stand so it won't fall off if you invert the monitor, but it feels a bit flimsy and I can't seem to get it tight enough for my liking (giggty).

I am extremely picky with my monitors. I don't see anything outperforming this monitor at this price point.
That said, it does have it's flaws...
The out of box colors on this monitor are HORRIBLE. So bad I was considering sending it back. I spent about 2 hours calibrating to get it right.
The interface controls for calibration are also quite cumbersome, which is part of the reason why it took me so long to make my adjustments.
I did, however, successfully tweak the settings and got them close enough to enjoy the use of this monitor.
There will be some variation between monitors but for anyone curious my settings are as follows...

I have tested this device on both 3.0 USB and non 3.0 and I felt no difference at all. It's slim. It's light. It's really HD. I had NO PROBLEM WITH THE COVER AT ALL. This is a very strong dual monitor mount. It even comes with an allen key and a wrench to help with the installation. All you need is a philips screwdriver to install 3 screws that is used to mount the pole to the base. It has extra parts to permanently mount the Dual Monitor Stand on your desk where you have to drill a hole on the test. I skipped that step as after mounting my dual monitor, it is very sturdy. It comes with thumb screws where you can use your mount to screw the mount to the back on the monitor. The mount will support up to two 24" monitor. At the moment I installed two 20" monitor which leaves a small gap in the middle unless I move the monitor closer to me. I will be upgrading the 20" ... full review(52) -

I'm an IT professional for 21 years now and I'm very picky on the devices I buy. But I won't go into the device's details and features now as most people already shared the same typical and great reviews of this product so I won't repeat what already has been said. HOWEVER...I had an installation issue and I would like to share that experience. So I removed my old doorbell only to find out that my bricks (didn't even notice) are uneven/unflat and there's no way for me to install Ring against my bricks. As expected, I tried drilling through the brick using a hammer drill and the drill bit that came with it. Didn't work. I bought another masonry drill bit, didn't work. My friend lent me his concrete carbide tipped drill bit, didn't work - but it did allow me to drill a hole on the mortar, but ... full review(21,197) -

I bought a few days ago this adapter which was recommended directly by the support people from Plugable Technologies. After buying the adapter I received an email from them telling me to pre-install the software, which I did. Today I received the adapter, I just plugged in and it worked immediately and perfect. My computer is a Lenovo Yoga, which has no VGA port, so I am using the adapter for converting a USB 3.0 port into a VGA port. Overall I've had a great experience with this dashcam, the video quality and build quality are equally impressive. The setup was seamless, just put in the SD card and plug it in.
In the attached video I'll give you an overview of not only the camera but also the GPS features, as I've not seen anybody post that yet. There is a PC application to view the GPS data alongside the video, and you can also "Stamp" the GPS coordinates and speed onto the video if you so desire. It is important to note that even if you purchase the product listed as "N1 w/ GPS" you STILL need to purchase the "N1 GPS Mount" which will add in those GPS functions.
