Fast shipping and a really fun game to play. We just had a game night with 20 people and it was so fun. Everyone acting at the same time is great. Describing toilet paper was the most funniest thing I ever saw. Excellent party game! Also it is a great family game. We played both ways and it was fun both ways.(508) -

I bought this game recently with a coupon I got for Borders Bookstore. The object is simple - name three things that fit in a specific category in five seconds. Not as easy as it sounds, especially if the category is not your cup of tea. Sample categories are Name Three:
Army Generals
Produce Items
Dairy Products
U. S. astronauts
Deaceased Celebrities
Beach Boys songs
Dr. Seuss books
Things you do alone
The responses someone gave to the last one I can't print here. It can be a challenge. Here's the challenging part. If the first player cannot come up with three answers, it passes to the next player, who CANNOT repeat the answers already said. This could cause problems with categories that have a limit of answers, like Signs of the Zodiac. According to the rules, if the categories gets played by all players and no one ... full review(1,458) -

List Price: $29.99 Price: $29.98 "Best party game I've played yet, but the markers tend to die fast so make sure you have extras on hand." - By Tim Bannock (Hollywood, CA United States)
One of the best party games out there, especially if you have a "darker" or more adult mindset, though that's not at all necessary to find the laughs and fun in this game. The only complaint is that the markers wear out somewhat fast and are a bit too thick, creating sloppy artwork and making any sort of small detail-work overly difficult, which is unnecessary in a timed situation, which is how this game is played anyway. I keep having to buy dry erase markers from the 99Cents Store to replace the ones in this box.(1,554) -

We tried to buy the original game after christmas so it was sold out everywhere and prices were augmented to account for demand. So we settled on the party version. Having played both we found this to provide the same amount of enjoyment as the original. The scoring is a lot simpler which is nice for newcomers, but you start wanting more variety to mix up the gameplay. We always end up getting an excellent dose of laughter even when playing with new couples that we are just getting to know for the first time. Great ice-breaker without pushing people outside their comfort zones too much. 4 stars and not 5 because they needed to provide more questions in our opinion, but I'm sure this is to encourage the purchase of expansion packs. Great game-play innovation over-all.(284) -

We played this game for a couples night. It provided hours of fun. It's amazing to see how everyone minds run in totally different directions when given the same set of clues to guess something. It also is a great conversation starter! It's fun. Adults who played were 30-45. It is a great, fun, game! It's very simple. It's also easy to change the rules to fit your group. Love it!(454) -

I played this board game with a mix of adults and jr. high kids. You'd probably like this game if you like other family games like Apples to Apples, Balderdash, Cranium, etc.
Reasons I like this game:
1. Easy to learn. Everyone understood how to play easily.
2. Keeps everyone active. No waiting for your turn.
3. Play a little or a lot. One round can be done in less than 30 min, but you can do more and play for hours. We played a few rounds.
4. Learn whats going on in other people's heads. I found it fun and interesting to see what answers others wrote down and to try to guess what they would write down. One card was "rich people hobbies" and I wrote down boating and traveling, and one kid wrote ... full review(436) -

Super fun game! I bought this game based on the reviews and am so glad I did. It has quickly become our favorite!! I will admit, when I read the directions I was a little concerned and couldn't see how this was going to be fun. My family was looking at me with scowls on their faces also unconvinced (3 teenagers 15-18). But we decided to give it a try. Once we started playing the fun was like wildfire. Now it is our go to game. Anyone we invite to play with us always asks us to describe it and we try but end up saying just 'play' you'll see how much fun it is. I highly recommend it!(891) -

This was a gift for my daughter and I was skeptical the game would be any fun. Most of the princess themed games we've bought are just an excuse to have something princess and pink and the actual game isn't very good. Those games have been played a few times and now sit in our closet because they were so boring. This game has been so much fun and is actually an interesting game for the kids to play! My 7 yr old son even plays it and he hates all the girl/pink/princess stuff! Something about the way the cards and the rules are set up has kept it interesting and exciting each time we play it. Its easy to understand, but also keeps your attention, so a wide range of ages can play it - even by themselves without help from adults! The ... full review(564) -

We've not actually played this game with a group of people so bear that in mind as you read this review. Having said that, we cracked it open as soon as it came in, read the rules and immediately started "playing" with the handful of people that were home. Essentially you get a deck of cards that have point words that you're supposed to give clues for your teammates to guess, the trick is not saying the four buzzwords that are under each point word. Sounds easy right? This game is not for the uneducated. We "played" with our kids(teenagers) and our 9 year old. There are some words that would be inappropriate for little ones but for the most part it can be a family friendly game. The rules are few and exceptionally easy, the only disagreement was whether the clues were supposed to be single words or phrases. ... full review(284) -

"Really surprised me!" - By Heather Garcia (Austin, Texas)
Goat Lord's is a goofy, quick, low key game. I was given the chance to review this item, and since we are pretty avid gamers I thought I'd share some thoughts and a few pro's and con's.
Goat Lords is won by accumulating the most points. You win points by building your goat herd, through births, assisted births, or attacks. You could play multiple rounds and the first to 1,000 wins or just he highest score for one round. You're essentially playing a bonafide 'go fish'. Make a match, make a baby, which expands your herd. Sounds kind of lame and at first I was under impressed with the simplicity of the game but then you start dueling and using action cards and all of a sudden you need to strategize. Do I duel now? Or wait for it to get even more valuable before I attack? Then there's ... full review(79)
